The UC Professional Development Modules for Teaching Excellence are asynchronous courses and faculty development resources that train UC faculty, lecturers, and graduate students in DEI & A principles and practices for teaching and learning. As this infographic detailing usage from 2018-2020 explains, UC Centers for Teaching and Learning offer workshops, orientations, seminars, consultations, and guidance for Senate and Non-Senate faculty and TAs teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Across the nine undergraduate-serving campuses, thousands of instructors and graduate TAs teaching hundreds of thousands of UC students have participated in teaching and learning workshops, seminars, or certificates coordinated by the UC Teaching and Learning Centers.
Written in 2019, the Recommendations for Evaluating Teaching Effectiveness report synthesizes efforts that are underway on nearly every UC campus to improve teaching evaluation.
