Our first math presentation of the quarter was about Math in Finance led by Secretary Stela. We discussed the different aspects of math in the finance world and what one can do when pursuing a finance-related career as a math enthusiast.

Our Club President Edrik is also a skilled jazz musician, so he taught us about the importance of math in music. Thank you to Club President Edrik for leading this meeting!

We hosted a meeting about the deterministic "game" of Conway's Game of Life!

We hosted a Valentine's Day Social before the Valentine's Day long weekend. We played games, chatted, ate Valentine's themed treats, and listening to love songs!

In collaboration with UCR's Math Club, we hosted a Pi Day Social for all math enjoyers. Both clubs provided food and games. Thank you so much to Math Club for collaborating with us for such a succesful event!

Our first general meeting of the 2025-2026 school year consisted of an introduction to the club, what we do, and what we've done as well as a short presentation on grad school and research!

We hosted a Resume, CV, & Cover Letter Workshop, teaching members about the importance of these documents, especially for mathematicians seeking academic jobs. We shared examples of math resumes, CVs, and cover letters.
