Hi! I am Peijung, Marrisa Chou. I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. I earned my BA degree in Economics at Feng Chia University in Taiwan, and moved to the United States in 2001. I received my master degree of Learning Design & Technology at Purdue University in 2016. I have been in the education field since 2012, and teaching Mandarin for k to 8 grade in Charlotte.

My daughter is the first one to inspire me to teaching Mandarin in U.S.A. My husband, one daughter and I live in Weddington since 2015. Before 2020, we used to travel a lot in Asia, and we have been to so many countries in Asia in summer. I enjoy not only teaching my first language but also sharing my culture as well. I enjoy working with kids. Teaching has always been my passion. It always brings so much happiness to my life. I also like to spend time with my family, travel, and enjoy cooking as well.
