Hi! I am Wu Laoshi. I was born in the city of Huaihua in Hunan Province. I got my master's degree in South China Normal University, Guangzhou city, Guangdong province. I have been teaching for six years, mainly children aged 5-12 years old. In my free time, I like drawing, reading and traveling.

The reason I came to the United States is because I majored in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and have always wanted to live in a foreign country and to explore a different culture. This job enables me to gain precious experience in teaching elementary school kids. I love kids. Teaching is a rewarding job. Seeing kids making progress makes me happy.

I am really glad that parents give their children this chance to be in the Mandarin program. It will help students to learn more about Chinese culture if their parents take them to try Chinese food, travel to China, and go to Chinatowns in the U.S.
