TENTS- Union County Public Schools does not allow tents to be placed in the stands at any stadium. Please do not set up team tents in the stands as you will be asked to remove these tents. Tents may be placed at the top of the home stands next to the press box. They may not go near the fencing up top as we have our vendors setting up there. Tents may also go anywhere on the path down to away bleachers/second concession stand area. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.
PACKET PICK UP-We will be doing packet pick up this year as they have changed our ticketing rules. All athletes and coaches will enter at the entrance closest to the tennis courts and the traffic circle. We will have packets to pick up at this entrance. We will have wristbands for your athletes and coaches. These must be worn at all times. WE WILL NOT HAVE HEAT SHEETS IN THE PACKETS!! Everything can be found online before and during the event, so we won't be wasting all of that paper to put heat sheets in the packets.
ATHLETIC TRAINERS- Cuthbertson High School and Atrium health will be providing certified athletic trainers onsite during the competition. Schools not traveling with a trainer should send supplies, such as tape and pre-wrap, as we will have limited quantities of those supplies.
All injuries or medical emergencies should be reported to the athletic trainer. The trainer will either be in the training room, or the medical tent.
COACHES BOX- There will be a coaches box at High Jump, Shot Put, and discus. There should not be coaches anywhere on the infield unless they are helping run the meet as an official. Coaches who need to coach the pole vault, long jump, or triple jump can do so from outside the fence.
TIMING- The timing will be done by Mitchell Timing and live results can be found at mitchelltiming.com.
AWARDS- Awards will be presented at the Charlotte Running Company tent next to the press box at the conclusion of the final heat of races. . The top 3 in each event will be awarded a 2026 Clash of the Carolinas bag tag.
OUTSIDE FOOD AND DRINK
Union County Public Schools no longer allows outside food or drink unless it is brought into the facility by the team/coach at the team entrance. Coolers may only be brought in through this gate by the team or coaches on staff. Please let your parents know that they will not be allowed to bring in anything.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
No bags will be allowed into the facility for fans that are not clear. All bags will be checked at the entrance. All athletes need to use the athlete entrance and enter with their team to start the meet if they have bags.
