AIG 5th Grade Reading

AIG 5th Grade Reading consists of many components. To build up a rigorous and extensive vocabulary, we will use Caesar's English II. We will also use Grammar Voyages for grammar. Some fabulous resources you will see this year that we are using are William & Mary Literary Reflections, Junior Great Books, Jacob's Ladder, classic novels from Michael Clay Thompson, as well as the latest novel sets for book clubs.

We have a lot to do in only a little over an hour's time each day! I cannot wait to get started.

Your child will need the following supplies to START the year:

• 1 Blue Composition Notebook; 1 Black Composition Notebook; one 5 Subject spiral notebook (any color/design) sturdy cover
• 1 Plastic, Blue 3 prong and pocket folder
• A 4-pack of Post-its
• 1 pack of index cards
• 1 highlighter and 1 black sharpie
• Cinch book bag
