AIG 4th Grade Math
AIG 4th Grade Math uses Singapore Math. At the center of the program is problem solving. We will explore math concepts using interactive problem solving techniques, such as bar modeling. It is a new way of thinking, and we will work together to be successful!
We have a lot to do in only a little over an hour's time each day! I cannot wait to get started.
Your child will need the following supplies to START the year:
- 2 Composition Notebooks (one red, one black)
- 1 Plastic, Red 3 prong and pocket folder
- Cinch book bag
- Glue sticks (4) *NOT JUMBO
- Pencils
- 2 Dry erase markers
Here are the steps to solving word problems in Singapore Math. Students have a poster size of this in the classroom, along with a table chart, and will have one glued in their notebooks.
