A boxed lunch will be served beginning at 11am. Remarks will begin at 11:30am.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Cristobal Salinas Jr., will present The Power of Educators in Union 240, following words from Faculty Senate President, Dr. Daniel Wolcott and UCM Provost, Dr. Phillip Bridgmon. The lunch keynote speaker will be introduced by Dr. René Burress.

Closing Keynote - Union 240
Dr. Nabat Erdogan, 2022 UCM Faculty Scholar Award winner, will present Revisiting Our Discipline: We Know It, But Can We Teach It?. Prior to the presentation, Dr. Burkeybile will present the Faculty Scholar Award. Dr. Yuankun Yao, representative from the College of Education for the University Research Council, will introduce Dr. Erdogan. Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, this presentation will be rescheduled for a later date; a closing ceremony will continue at 3pm! Join us for the presentation of the faculty scholar award, remarks and drawings for PD prizes!

At the Faculty Teaching and Research Conference, we anticipate that discussions will center on the ways in which faculty can improve their practice, in both teaching and research.
