Boudinot's Name

Boudinot’s Cherokee name was Galagina, which means “buck” (Malone 164). The spelling of his name is questionable. Boudinot’s name appeared as “Boudinott” on the first issue of the Phoenix, but as “Boudinot” on all following issues.
