Our basic interdiciplinary Toolkit is framed within the Complutense University Research Group SIIM- Studies on Intermediality and intercultural Mediation
In particular, it contributes to the Innovation project "Transferrable Skills for students and Early Career Researchers" through the creative teaching and assessment of critical thinking skills in the Humanities.
In SIIM we acknowledge that 21st century confronts us with a new paradigm of information , complex and variable and under the constant threat of fake news, misinformation and manipulation. This challenge must be addressed effectively and is leading us to question traditional educational systems.
Following European regulations established in EHEA- European Higher Education Area, 21st century education must provide students with the effetive tools to solve problems creatively and sustainably while working for a democratic and egalitarian society of committed and responsable citizens.
Our future requires co-creation mechanisms to re-conduct ideas differently. It is for this reason that with this iniciative we advocate for the need to embrace co-creation as a necessary cooperative process rooted in inclusive voices and visions working together to improve the teaching and assessment of critical thinking skills in Education in particular and in society at large.
We would love to hear from you!
Let´s co-create together!
