The 9th European Nanomanipulation Workshop

The Conference will have place in La Cristalera (web), sited in Miraflores de la Sierra, a small town in the mountains, close to Madrid.

Miraflores de la Sierra

Miraflores de la Sierra is a town in the northern area of Madrid, in central Spain. With six thousand inhabitants, it is located 49 kilometers away from Madrid.

Located in a privileged enclave, of outstanding natural and ecological value, Miraflores de la Sierra is part of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, as well as the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares Regional Park, a protected natural area. 

La Cristalera (Housing and Workshop Venue)

La Cristalera is the Conference Center that the Autonomous University of Madrid has in the municipality of Miraflores de la Sierra for the development of meetings, conferences, summer courses and leisure and cultural activities. Moreover, this facility provides meals and accommodation for the workshop attendees. It also includes a garden area and a swiming pool.

The proximity to other points in the mountains, whose tourist, cultural or environmental interest is indisputable, makes this building a reference for many institutions or companies that see here the ideal setting for holding their congresses and meetings. The building has two thousand square meters, within a 30,000 square meter estate surrounded by a lush forest of oaks and pines and crossed by the Gargantón River.
