Since 2001, UCL Investment Society has grown into one of UCL’s largest and most established student communities, bringing together students with a shared curiosity for investing, financial markets, and careers in finance.

Our mission is simple: to help students turn ambition into opportunity.

Whether you are taking your first steps in learning about what investment banking means or preparing for a career in finance, our society provides a platform to learn, grow, and connect. Through technical workshops, speaker events, insight days, mentorship programmes, and networking opportunities with leading firms and alumni, we aim to make finance more accessible to students from every degree and background.

What makes UCLIS special is its community. Each year, we welcome more than a thousand new members into a network of ambitious, curious, and supportive students. From the UCL Finance Conference to our mentorship and alumni programmes, our initiatives are designed to help members develop practical skills, challenge ideas, and build lasting relationships.
