Hotel:

The 2020 conference hotel is the Sonesta Irvine – Orange County Airport (previously the Wyndham Irvine), 17941 Von Karman Avenue, Irvine, CA 92614. The SABER West rate is no longer available, but the hotel website can be found here: Sonesta Irvine

Hotel parking is $10/night for those who registered with the meeting rate (normally $20/night).

Flights:

We recommend that you fly into John Wayne Airport (less than 5 miles to UC Irvine).

Getting to UCI:

• Saturday January 18 2020

Saturday morning - Bus will pick up from the Hotel at 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 am and drop off at UCI Lot 7 (close to the Anteater Learning Pavilion)

Saturday evening - Bus will pick up from UCI outside of the UCI Student Center (113 Pereira Dr, Irvine, CA 92697) at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00pm and drop off at Hotel

Sunday morning - Bus will pick up from the Hotel at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30am and drop off at UCI Lot 7

Sunday afternoon- Bus will pick up from campus and drop off at Hotel

2:00 pm pickup at Lot 7 (for those who need to head home right away)

4:00 pm pickup outside the Student Center (for those who want to meet for a post-conference happy hour at Eureka)

Driving and parking

The meeting will take place in the Anteater Learning Pavilion. Parking will be nearby in lot 7 (search "UCI lot 7"on google maps for driving directions).

There will be a parking attendant at the entrance of lot 7 from 8:15-10:15am on Saturday and 8-10:00am on Sunday who will be selling one day parking permits. The attendant can accept CASH ONLY.

If you arrive at a time outside of these hours, you can purchase a day permit from an attendant or automated kiosk at the Mesa Parking Structure just down the hill on Mesa Road. It is possible to use cash or credit card at this location.

One-day permits cost $13.
