Workshop Application

Applications have now closed.

DEADLINE WAS EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 8, MIDNIGHT - LAST TIME ZONE ON EARTH!

Notices of acceptance to attend the workshop were sent mid-December 2021.

Applications to the Fund Consciousness Science! workshop + subaward program should include:

    1. A 1-page project description (can be formatted as a Specific Aims page)

      • Projects should be related to psychology, neuroscience, AI, philosophy, ML, cognitive science, physics, computer science, or similar/related field. And also be related to consciousness, obviously!

      • Projects can be computational, empirical, theoretical, or any combination thereof.

      • Projects can include human or non-human animal subjects or require specialized equipment.

        • Any subawards based on these proposed projects will be dependent on applicant providing supporting documentation demonstrating feasibility upon request. (In other words, don't propose an fMRI study if you don't have access to a magnet or you couldn't get IRB approval for your study; don't propose invasive electrophysiology in monkeys if you have no experience in it and don't have access to a lab to support it; etc.)

    2. Your CV

    3. (optional) Letter of support from a faculty sponsor who could receive funds on your behalf, if required (see eligibility criteria, below)
