I'm an Economics PhD Candidate at the University of California, Irvine working at the intersection of Macroeconomics, Monetary Theory and Experimental Economics.
I'm currently on the market and expect to graduate by June 2023.
My current research focuses on taking key elements of Macroeconomics and Monetary Theory and testing them in a controlled experimental environment to better understand and expand the behavioral assumptions underlying standard theory. This research agenda has led me to pursue knowledge in the fields of macroeconomic theory, experimental methods and implementation, as well as data analysis.
I was a Lecturer for Introduction to Economics, Microeconomics and Finance in Chile my home country before moving to the US and have an outstanding track record as a TA at UCI. Alway looking to Improve my teaching, I have participated in UCI's California Community College Internship Program and The Summer Teaching Apprenticeship Program.
