EXTRAVAPALOOZA 2023:
BUILDING CONNECTIONS
SUMMER PROFESSIONAL LEARNING FOR THE UCI EDUCATORS COMMUNITY
LEARNING BETTER, TOGETHER
How might what we teach be better connected to things that matter deeply to students?
How might communities be intentionally cultivated within our classrooms so students feel more connected to self and others?
Extravapalooza was created in summer of 2020 for educators seeking pedagogical shifts in their practice and support from fellow educators. Our goal for the Extravapalooza every year is to create a space in which educators support each other on our collective transformative journey of cultivating a more inclusive, just classroom and beyond.
We are honored to have you join us as we reflect upon and refine our pedagogical beliefs and instructional practices as they relate to Bridging Connections. We are proud to partner with experts and experienced educators from across the country and provide you with our curated collection of literature, sessions, and workshops.
However you choose to participate, we hope Extravapalooza provides you with resourcefulness and empowerment.
We look forward to learning better, together with you.
