VIVA LA RAZA
Rico Bueno MC'd the 1972 celebration. Bueno was a notable attendant at the cerebration because he was a key supporter of the park takeover two years prior. He was a City College and chair of the Chicano Park Steering Committee in 1972. He is also the artist behind the Chicano Park original logo.
