The Becker Friedman Institute for Economics (BFI) seeks to place UChicago undergraduate students studying economics, broadly defined, in substantive academic year research assistantships with faculty to advance their development as researchers. BFI provides funding for UChicago students selected for these assistantships through limited funding made available through BFI.
