Instructions for Presenters

Oral Presentation Instructions: 

Presentation format: Each contributed talk in the Thematic Sessions is allotted 15 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for questions. Each talk in the Special Session in Honor of Mariel Vázquez is allotted 25 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and transitions. Please stay within the allotted time to ensure that all presentations run on schedule.

Laptops and connections: Presenters should bring their own laptops, along with any necessary adapters. Please make sure to test your laptop connection ahead of time in the ballroom (A or B) where you are scheduled to present. ARC staff will be available to assist. 

Video materials: We strongly recommend downloading any videos in advance rather than relying on internet streaming during the presentation.

Poster Presentation Instructions:

Poster dimensions: The recommended poster size is 48 inches wide × 36 inches high in landscape orientation.

Mounting materials: Please bring your poster already printed. The ARC will provide pushpins, but you are welcome to bring your own. When removing your poster, please leave the ARC provided pushpins on the board.

Judging: Posters will be considered for poster awards. Judges will visit during the session so please be available at your poster to present your work and answer their questions.
