- In Human Computer Interaction Lab UC Davis. I am currently working on building up the deep learning system which takes student images as an input and based on the pattern of mouse click and keyboard typing speed the system will weather the student can able to understand the material being taught to him/her.Also based on student facial expression we can able to tell if the material is been understood (happy face) or not(frustrated face). This system I am building up is a extension of paper "Knowing What You Know What I Know Help's"
- In AHMCT lab in UC Davis(Master's Project).I am currently working on a deep learning project which involves predicting of different categories of accident occurring on the highways. Also predicting the most common place the accident occurs for a particular category on the highway. This would help in building new infrastructure of highway keeping in mind the area's which are most prone to accident.
- In Language, Multimodal and Interaction Laboratory at UC Davis I worked under super vision of professor Zhou Yu. There my work revolve around embedding speech and facial recognition features in the project called Movie Recommendation Chatbox. For this project, I used an open source software that utilizes deep learning to enable real-time face recognition. Progress in designing intelligent interactive systems that can naturally coordinate with human interactions comes through research, and there are still so many questions that need to be investigated further. I want to contribute to the future of technology and human-machine communication by helping answer these questions.
- In Human Computer Interaction Laboratory during my undergraduate studies at the Amrita University, I worked under with Dr. J Amudha as a research assistant. My project involved developing an interactive application that responds to user's actions based on their eye position and eye movement. The application collectively analyzed the eye-tracking data to draw conclusions about how to respond to the user's actions. As a part of this project, I also designed and conducted user studies with 15 participants to test the usability of the application I developed. Overall, conducting user studies helped me learn more about user needs and their natural interaction behavior.
