Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have state 4-H (Level 1) certification in the discipline in which enrolled.
Have a minimum level of experience teaching in the discipline. This is determined by discipline instructor(s).
Have an interest in 4-H, positive youth development, and STEM
Endorse Train-the-Trainer concept in 4-H Shooting Sports
Have experience teaching youth and/or adults.
Have current 4-H Volunteer status or Extension Faculty status in their state
Have been recommended by their State 4-H Shooting Sports Coordinator

This event follows the UC 4-H Basic Safety Standards for statewide events. Please check our COVID Updates page for any changes to these standards before the event.
Face masks are not required when social distancing of 3 feet is maintained.
If social distancing is not possible, masks are required.
Proof of a negative COVID test is required to participate in this event.
Maintaining individual privacy and confidentiality is a primary concern.
Test must be collected within 48 hours prior to the event.
Home tests, with name and date documented, are acceptable.
A photo or electronic copy of test results is acceptable proof.
Test results will be observed and verified by a pre-determined 4-H staff member or adult volunteer.
Copies of test results will not be collected or retained by 4-H.
Test results will be verified at entry to the event.
The record will reflect that test results were viewed and confirmed for each individual. Records will not be retained by 4-H.
Persons with Positive or Inconclusive test results are not allowed to attend 4-H events.
