Getting to Davis
From Sacramento International Airport (SMF):
Bus: Yolobus route 42A and 42B have stops at terminals A and B at SMF and run to UC Davis campus. The total trip time is about 70 minutes on either route. Fare is $2.25 one way and tickets can be purchased using cash, Connect Card, or the ZipPass mobile app.
Car: From SMF it is a 20-45 minute drive to Davis. Uber or Lyft are available.
From Oakland International Airport (OAK):
Transit: From OAK, you can take transit all the way to Davis. It takes about 2 hours and costs ~$35 one-way. Take the BART Oakland Airport connector to Colosseum Amtrak station, then connect with Capital Corridor to Davis. Capital Corridor tickets must be purchased in advance. BART tickets can be bought at the station or using a Clipper Card or any contactless payment card, including mobile wallets.
Car: From OAK it is about a 1 - 2 hour drive to Davis via Interstate 880 and Interstate 80.
From San Francisco International Airport (SFO):
Transit: From SFO, you can take transit all the way to Davis. It takes about 2.5 hours and costs ~$35 one-way. At SFO, take the BART Red line all the way to its final stop, Richmond. At Richmond BART, transfer train platforms from BART to Amtrak by using the stairs down onto the main concourse and then up the stairs to Richmond Amtrak. Follow signs for Amtrak. Take Amtrak Capital Corridor until you reach the Davis station. Capital Corridor tickets must be purchased in advance. BART tickets as you enter the station using a Clipper Card or any contactless payment card, including mobile wallets.
Car: From SFO it is about a 1.5 - 2.5 hour drive to Davis via US-101 and Interstate 80.
Traveling within Davis:
Walk: Davis is pretty walkable, especially if your accommodations are downtown. Walk time from downtown to the event location is 15-20 minutes.
Bike: Davis is the cycling capital of the US, and a bike is by far the easiest way to get around campus. Feel free to bring your own bicycle to get around. If you don't want to bring your own bike, you can rent one from one of the local bike shops. Most places offer multiday reservations. Local shops that rent bicycles include:

Transit: Unitrans is the local bus agency within Davis, and all routes terminate at the UC Davis campus. Fare is $1.50 for a single ride. Tickets can be purchased using cash or the ZipPass mobile app. MultiRide passes are also available.
Car: Parking on campus is free during weekends. On Friday, it is recommended to park in the Pavilion Structure or the Visitor Parking Lot 40. At Visitor Parking Lot 40, there are permit dispensers for visitors to pay for permits. Permit dispensers require your license plate number.
