In 2023, the UC Davis English Graduate Student Association (EGSA) partnered with English graduate students at the University at Albany to host Coast to Coast Connections. A hybrid conference with participation from around both the country and the world, Coast to Coast Connections brought together more than 50 scholars of all skill levels online and in-person at both campuses in California and New York. The 2026 conference continues the same legacy of encouraging emerging graduate, undergraduate, and independent scholars to present research and build community. Connections 2026 is the fourth annual conference held by the English Graduate Student Association at UC Davis.
