A colloboration between the Critical Hit: Counterplay & Cultural Games Studies DHI Research Cluster and the English Graduate Student Association (EGSA), Connections 2024 is the 2nd annual graduate student conference by the UC Davis EGSA.

In 2023, EGSA partnered with English graduate students at the University at Albany to host Coast to Coast Connections. A hybrid conference with participation of more than 50 scholars from around both the country and the world, Coast to Coast Connections brought together scholars of all skill levels online, from across the nation and the world, and in-person at both campuses in California and New York.

In the same spirit of collaboration and interdisciplinary scholarship, Connections 2024 continues to provide a space aimed at undergraduate and graduate students to present their cutting-edge research and build communities of fellow academics beyond the physical and disciplinary walls.
