About Math D:
Math D is an intermediate algebra course covering fractions, polynomials, factoring, exponents, radicals, inequalities, graphing lines and parabolas, and more. The course is graded Pass/No Pass and carries 3 workload units which do not count towards graduation but do count towards full-time status and minimum progress. It is typically taken by students who wish to review these algebra topics before enrolling in a precalculus course.
Fall Quarter 2025:
There are five sections of MAT D this quarter.
My sections (001 and 004) meet remote synchronously on Zoom, which means we do not meet in Dutton Hall as listed on Schedule Builder, but rather we meet at our scheduled time on Zoom. You can find all of the necessary Zoom information on our Canvas page. The remote sections cover the exact same content and pacing as the in-person sections. If you have any questions or concerns about the logistics of this course, just send me an email and I'm happy to discuss how to make this class work well for you.
MAT D is typically offered in the Fall and Winter quarters.
