Boarding September 18, 2025
Boarding Community Weekends (BCW) take place three times over the school year. These required weekend activities are designed to allow the boarding community to have fun together, learn something new, get to know each other better and create lasting memories.
The first boarding community weekend began with an improv workshop that was filled with laughter, learning and connection. On Saturday evening, we travelled to St. Andrew’s College (SAC) to cheer on the Varsity Blues hockey team. The SAC fans were surprised to see more than 80 UCC fans in the stands! On Sunday, in alignment with UCC's value of service, boarders volunteered at the Old Boy-led community Terry Fox Run for more than 1,000 participants, where they set up, served guests and cleaned up the run site. The weekend ended with a hard-fought RAO Cup soccer game. The first BCW of the 2025-26 school year was a success!
