We hope that you’ve received this year’s UCC Fund package in your mailbox. During the last academic year, the College received $1,526,212 in donations to the UCC Fund from 923 parents, Old Boys, grandparents, past parents, staff and faculty.
Your gift to the UCC Fund will help bolster the vibrant and dynamic academic and co-curricular environment at the College. The impact of the UCC Fund is felt across the campus, directly benefiting every student regardless of their age and interests.
Donations can be directed to one of our key priorities outlined at uccfund.ucc.on.ca, or to a specific program, project or department that’s meaningful to you and your family. Gifts of all sizes are appreciated and supporters will receive a charitable tax receipt in exchange for their generous contribution.
If you have any questions about making a gift or to learn more about its potential impact, please contact Associate Director, Annual Giving Peter Maddox, at pmaddox@ucc.on.ca.
DGN-Kilters will be conveniently stationed on campus with their mobile sales van, located just outside the William P. Wilder ’40 Arena & Sports Complex from 12–5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27 for Prep families, and Wednesday, Oct. 29 for Upper School families.
This will give students an opportunity to purchase winter dress uniforms and facilitate exchanges or returns. Note that winter dress starts Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Dear UCC Community,
The nomination period for two of the College’s highest honours closes on Thursday, Oct. 30 at midnight. I hope you’ll consider nominating one or more of our extraordinary community members for these awards.
Information regarding the nomination process and deadlines for the John D. Stevenson Award and Old Boy of Distinction Award are available on our website.
Thank you in advance for nominating fellow UCC community members and helping the College recognize the profound impact of our alumni and volunteers!
Sincerely,
Chanakya Sethi ’03
President, UCC Association
Financial assistance applications for the 2026–27 academic year will once again be processed by Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS). This third-party service provides an independent assessment of the application and makes confidential recommendations directly to the College’s financial assistance review committee. Awards are made to eligible families on the basis of assessed need and may vary from year to year. You can complete the application online. The application fee is $137.50.
Current families must apply or reapply by the Nov. 14 deadline so the College can ensure that all returning student applications are assessed and decisions made prior to a re-registration decision is required early in 2026.
The College’s finance office has included current data in an at-a-glance table to help day families determine whether or not they may qualify for financial assistance. This table, along with the “Frequently Asked Questions” section around the application process, are available on the Financial Assistance page of the UCC website. There’s some very helpful guidance material on the FACS site as well.
Sincerely,
Colleen Papulkas
Manager, Finance Office
