Students planning to apply to U.S. colleges and require teacher recommendations, it's crucial to complete the Teacher Recommendation Request Form as soon as possible. Deadline was June 1.
This form provides essential information to teachers so they can write a strong and personalized letter of recommendation for students. It also helps advisers/counsellors, keep track of progress and provide the best possible support throughout the students' application journey.
Why is this important?
A completed form helps teachers highlight the students' specific strengths, achievements, and experiences relevant to their college aspirations.
Teachers need ample time to write thoughtful letters. Submitting this request form early ensures they can meet the students' college application deadlines.
It allows us to better coordinate with teachers and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted correctly.
What students need to do:
Identify Teachers: Politely ask teachers in-person who know them well academically if they are willing to write a recommendation for them.
Complete the Form: Fill out the Teacher Recommendation Request Form thoroughly and thoughtfully.
The form will be shared directly to teachers. They must complete one form per teacher.
Teachers and the university counsellors are here to support students, and providing this information in a timely manner is key for a successful application.
