Holiday Dinner

In a festive crescendo of talent and togetherness, UCC boarding hosted a remarkable dinner event where students and staff showcased their musical prowess in live performances, transforming the evening into a harmonious celebration. Two student heads of houses stole the spotlight as charismatic MCs, seamlessly guiding the audience through a diverse range of musical acts with charm and wit. Against a backdrop of enchanting melodies, the holiday feast served during the event added a delicious dimension to the night, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The combination of live music, engaging MCs and a sumptuous feast created an unforgettable experience, reinforcing the bonds of friendship and unity within the boarding community and leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who attended.

Distillery District Christmas Market

The boarders enjoyed an evening with holiday cheer, hot drinks and new friends from the neighbouring Havergal College. Last Saturday they headed out to the annual Distillery Winter Village in the historic Distillery District in downtown Toronto. After being hosted by Havergal College for a hearty dinner, both schools set out on the journey across town, where they were treated to glittering lights and a jolly atmosphere as festive groups milled about the market lit by the soft glow of the Dior Christmas tree. Fuelled by hot chocolate and resilient in the face of wet weather, we hope the boys will bring home fond memories of their Winter Village experience (and maybe a present or two!)
