Bringing together experts from our broader community on a range of compelling topics, UCC’s Speaking Of series continues with a hybrid in-person and virtual discussion on leadership in women’s professional sports.
Join panellists Mark Cohon ’85, chair of the Northern Super League, Olympic medallist and Super League founder Diana Matheson, and Teresa Resch, inaugural president of the Toronto Tempo, as we delve into the exciting world of women’s sports. With increasing representation, investment and media coverage, the interest has never been stronger. We’ll discuss what this evolution means to players, fans and the landscape of sports as a whole — and the opportunities it presents now, and to future generations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights and engage in meaningful conversation.

Parents are partners at UCC! We value the support and collaboration of our parent community as we engage with prospective and new parents at the College. The Admissions team is looking for Parent Ambassadors to help us welcome our newest families.
UCC Parent Ambassadors will be assigned 2–3 new families to support by providing tips and answering questions. Parent Ambassadors also support UCC's Open House and admission events as greeters and hosts.Â
Please complete this Google Form to express your interest in being a resource for new families as they navigate their journey at the College.Â
A Zoom training session will be held from 7–8 p.m. on April 29. Training and materials will be provided.

We need your support to make this year’s Staff Appreciation Lunch a success!
A time-honoured tradition at UCC, the Staff Appreciation Lunch is our school community’s way of thanking all the different staff who help make our students’ experience at the College so remarkable. This includes teachers, administration, arena staff, housekeeping, food services and support staff. Approximately 350 staff will attend the lunch on Wednesday, May 28 in the Foster Hewitt Foundation Lounge.
The Staff Appreciation Lunch is fully funded by parent donations, so please contribute to this wonderful event for all of our UCC staff by donating here.Â
Thank you so much for your support!Â
