This year's A-Day proved to be an amazing day packed with community spirit. The energy and excitement was felt all day around the campus, and we loved seeing you there.
Thank you to all our generous sponsors, parent volunteers and everyone who came out for making A-Day a memorable and special day!
We look forward to seeing you at next year's A-Day on October 5, 2024.
Financial assistance applications for the 2024–25 academic year will once again be processed by Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS). This third-party service provides an independent assessment of the application and makes confidential recommendations directly to the College’s financial assistance review committee. Awards are made to eligible families on the basis of assessed need and may vary from year to year. You can complete the application online at www.applefinancialservices.ca. The application fee is $130.
Current families must apply or reapply by the deadline of November 13 so the College can ensure that all returning student applications are assessed and decisions made prior to a re-registration decision is required early in 2024.
The College’s finance office has included current data in an at-a-glance table to help day families determine whether or not they may qualify for financial assistance. This table, along with the “Frequently Asked Questions” section around the application process, are available on the Financial Assistance page of the UCC website. There’s some very helpful guidance material on the FACS site as well.
Sincerely,
Colleen Papulkas

Please join us for our annual Fall Open House at the Norval Outdoor School on Sunday, Oct. 22 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Fall at Norval is full of beautiful colours and there will be lots of evidence of wildlife as most animals are preparing for winter. There will be a variety of outdoor activities such as visiting our apple orchard and making fresh apple cider, a fall hike with a scavenger hunt and a pumpkin painting station. Stephen House will be open, with food and refreshments available.
Join us for an outdoor getaway with friends and family. Dogs on a leash are welcome too!
New activities this year:
Our community members can learn how to make small boats and float them in the Credit River (or take them home to float on their own).
Families can also take part in printmaking and create their own Credit River fabric flag. This activity will be led by artists Dylan Gauthier, Kendra Sullivan, Freddie Ratkovsky and Brandon Latcham from the art collective Mare Liberum. The workshop is made possible by the Lind Art Fund.
Please click here to register or email Amanda Vieira-Hasz in the Association Office or call 416-488-1125 ext. 2294.
Directions to Norval: Take Highway 401 west to Winston Churchill Boulevard. Follow Winston Churchill Boulevard north and go through the village of Norval. Continue straight ahead. The entrance to the Norval property is on your left, 1.2 kilometres north of the village stoplight. The drive takes about 50 minutes from UCC in light traffic.
