Please join us for our annual Norval Spring Open House on Sunday, June 2 from 1–3 p.m.
Highlights of the event include a visit to our beautiful Norval Outdoor School where you’ll have an opportunity to explore the grounds and participate in the following activities: Â
Norval Amazing Race: Test your skills on the course which takes you around the property with more than 15 challenges. If your team completes all the challenges, you’ll earn a special Norval Amazing Race medal! Â
Crayfish Safari: Did you know there are 3 different kinds of crayfish that live in the Credit River? Help us catch (and release) some, and see what we can find. Please bring rubber boots for this activity as you will have to wade into the water.
Norval Garden: Students have worked hard to create this beautiful and educational garden filled with herbs, flowers and veggies. Spring is the perfect time to meet our vermi worms and plant flowers with our Norval gardener. Â
Food and refreshments will be available in Stephen House. Friends, family and dogs on leashes are all welcome (note that dogs are not permitted in Stephen House).
Click here to register or contact Amanda Vieira-Hasz in the Association Office at 416-488-1125 ext. 2038.
Directions to Norval:
Take Highway 401 west to Winston Churchill Boulevard. Follow Winston Churchill Boulevard north and go through the Village of Norval. Continue straight ahead. The entrance to the Norval property is on your left, 1.2 km north of the village stoplight. The drive takes about 50 minutes from UCC in light traffic.
Principal Sam McKinney and the Association Council invite our community to a reception to honour and thank Upper Canada College’s dedicated volunteers and reflect on their many contributions to the 2023–24 academic year.
The annual Harold A.D. Robert Circle Awards will be presented to a group of volunteers who have demonstrated exemplary service and dedication to the College.Â
We hope you will join us for this special celebration!

We need your support to make this year’s Staff Appreciation Lunch a success!
A time-honoured tradition at UCC, the Staff Appreciation Lunch is our school community’s way of thanking all the different staff who help make our students’ experience at the College so remarkable. This includes teachers, administration, arena staff, housekeeping, food services and support staff. Approximately 350 staff will attend the lunch on May 29 in the Foster Hewitt Foundation Lounge.
The Staff Appreciation Lunch is fully funded by parent donations, so please contribute to this wonderful event for all of our UCC staff by donating here.Â
Thank you so much for your support!Â
Thank you to our wonderful UCC families for helping over 250 moms and their children living in shelters and accessing outreach programs to celebrate a Happy Mother's Day together!
Â
Your generous donations of beauty and health items were packed with care into beautiful gift bags by the volunteers of the Helping Hands Club. Moms at the women's shelter were also invited to select full-sized items, including new clothing, slippers, skin care products, and hair accessories.Â
Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter provides emergency shelter for 32 women and their children and offers services and support to over 750 women-led families across Toronto who have experienced violence.
Â
The Jean Tweed Centre annually provides counselling and care to over 1,700 women and their families. Their Child Development Centre offers support for moms and their kids through their Pathway to Healthy Families program and their Moms and Kids Too program. All of these gifts were cherished and made the day extra special for families at Ernestine's Women’s Shelter and the Jean Tweed Centre.Â
Thank you for your kind support.
