Dear Prep Families,

This has been a wonderfully festive week at the Prep. Alongside their usual engagement in learning, students have enjoyed skating, hot chocolate, pizza lunch and community celebrations. We are grateful to the Prep Parents’ Organization and our many parent volunteers for their support in making these activities a success. The excitement culminated in this morning’s all Prep assembly, when we had an opportunity to gather as a whole community to acknowledge the highlights and accomplishments of the fall term. The different celebrations and observances of this special time of year touch on shared themes of reflection and hope, moving away from darkness and toward light, warmth and community. The assembly offered a precious opportunity ahead of the holiday for us to reflect on and share gratitude for the hope, light and warmth we find in our Prep community.

We wish all Prep families a wonderful holiday and look forward to welcoming students back to school on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.

Colour house on vacation competition 

Colour house on vacation is a house competition that occurs over the winter break. In this competition, students are encouraged to email pictures of themselves wearing their house colours to Mr. Hustler. The house that sends in the most pictures will receive 1000 points (maximum of 2 pictures per student). Please contact Mr. Hustler for more details.
