Among participants, we plan to have about 25 students and researchers from Ghana and, 15 CIMPA participants from Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Nigeria. We may also have additional foreign participants not covered with CIMPA’s support.

Currently, there are no COVID related restrictions in Ghana except the usual hygiene rules. We recommend that you check if you have all necessary vaccinations for travelling to Ghana, for example, a yellow fever vaccination is mandatory to enter Ghana.

African nationals (with African passports) do not require a visa to travel to Ghana. You can check the list of countries requiring visa here. When applying for the visa you can use the following residence address in Ghana;

The Local Organizing Committee will arrange some shuttles from Accra to Cape Coast for those arriving before the summer school commences.
