Allies in STEM is special interest group for minority students and allies within STEM programs. Our aim is to unite like-minded students within STEM programs to celebrate, educate and advocate for stigmatized groups. The sciences can often be very straightforward, thereby preventing the opportunity to celebrate individuality. Here we hope to create a way for students to express their sexuality, gender identity, race and individuality whilst pursuing a degree in STEM.
We are UCA's Chemistry Club. Our student group is part of the National American Chemical Society, an organization that supports and promotes professional development, mentoring, and peer-support mechanisms for students majoring in the chemical sciences.
