8th grade Parents

We are in need of parent volunteers this year for part of the 8th grade service portion. Students this year have been given the opportunity to make deliveries with the Meals-on-Wheels program at LifeCare Alliance, but we need parent volunteers to drive students around for the deliveries. Please MOW Drivers to get more information about this volunteer opportunity and to sign up for it.

In order to participate with the Meals-on-Wheels program, there are TWO waivers that need to be signed and returned to Brooke Dionisio. Please click on the following two links to access them:

On September 13th, please arrive at LifeCare Alliance (670 Harmon Ave) between 9:00 and 9:30. You will go through a short orientation with the students about the program and then head out on your route. Your route should take around 90 minutes and you should be back at LifeCare to drop off the students around 12:30.

All questions regarding 8th grade volunteering should be directed to Brooke Dionisio at bdionisio@uaschools.org
