The elimination round of SciNAG will be held in a traditional test-taking fashion. Each participant should be separated from their team and are expected to take an individual examination — prepared by carefully selected professors of UA&P — over the duration of two (2) hours. The scores of each team is the sum total of the individual scores of each member of the team, representing the team’s overall performance in the elimination round. The top 10 teams with the highest total scores shall proceed to the final round.
Participants will take the examination individually through their Class Marker accounts.
A link to a Zoom Pro meeting should be provided to hold the Elimination Round.
Participants must join the Zoom meeting before beginning the examination.
Participants will be grouped randomly into breakout rooms.
Each breakout room will contain one facilitator tasked with overseeing the test takers.
After being directed to the examination via a link provided through registration, participants will be given two hours to complete the examination.
Participants are expected to practice academic honesty and integrity while taking the exam. The platform used (ClassMarker) should detect if the exam taker leaves the exam.
Participants will have two (2) hours at most to answer the entire exam of the elimination round.
Participants caught cheating will automatically have their exams voided. In doing so, they will garner a zero (0) score that will account for the total score of his/her team.
