Week 15 At A Glance
Week 15 Video
This week, you should finish your portfolio draft. You’ll provide feedback to classmates about their drafts as well as receive feedback about your portfolio draft.
By the end of this week, you will know or be able to:
Give classmates helpful feedback for their projects
Revise your project based on your classmates’ feedback
Continue working on your portfolio.
All good things take time!
This project has several elements (multimodal reflection, selected writings and commentaries, website elements and structure). I want you to have time to address all these elements.
Writing skills: practice the skills we have been learning all semester
Website: use the tutorials and other resources for information about Google Sites. Need more info? Search for what you need.
Have a question? Use the Discussion Board General Questions or email me (krymer@ualr.edu).
Link your portfolio in the discussion post by WEDNESDAY, Week 15, by 11:59 PM.
This week, your classmates will provide feedback about your portfolio through our discussion board conversations. Likewise, you will provide feedback to two classmates about their portfolios.
Feedback can be a valuable resource to writers—both the feedback you receive and the feedback you give. By reading and critiquing others’ work, you practice your critical thinking and analysis skills, expand your interaction with conventions, and develop rhetorical awareness.
Review the peer review materials from Week 4 if you need a refresher.
Publish your website and share the published link in the discussion board
Evaluate two of your classmates’ portfolios
Provide feedback to two classmates
*Review the Discussion Board Guidelines to locate the Discussion Board as well as specific requirements and general example answers.
Your initial post is due WEDNESDAY, Week 15, by 11:59 PM CT.
Please submit your draft on time!
Your two response posts are due SUNDAY, Week 15, by 11:59 pm CT.
Utilize our discussion thread, “Class Questions,” in the Discussion Board tab to ask me or your classmates questions. If you find yourself stuck on a particular problem you encounter in the class, this is the place to pose your question; however, if your problem is personal, please contact me directly.
Contact me! You can email me at krymer@ualr.edu or access my Google Calendar to schedule a Zoom or phone appointment. Call or text me at 765.918.8105, but please reserve that for emergencies.
