Fun fact about me is that I worked as a barista for 2.5 years before starting co-op. My hobbies include singing, playing video games, and running.

I’m a fourth-year Chemical Engineering student in the Computer Process Control option. I chose this path because I have always been drawn to the intersection of chemical processes and automation. The CPC option has given me the opportunity to explore process control, instrumentation, and how technology can optimize industrial systems. In the future, I hope to contribute to the clean energy sector, working on innovative solutions that integrate control systems and automation to drive sustainability and efficiency.

Hi, my name is Ryan, and I am a 3rd year chemical engineering student at the U of A. I’m currently on a 8 month work with Corrosion Service. Last year was my first year with ChESS as the Executive Assistant and I'm looking forward to another year in the club! For fun I play soccer and play video games with my friends in my free time. Also, I am a cow farmer from Saskatchewan.

I am a 3rd year ChemE CPC co-op student. Currently, I am on an 8 month work term at ATCO Gas. This will be my second year in ChESS, where I was the AVP Internals last year. I am currently also with the ESS as Operations Coordinator and on a number of design teams. Outside of school, I love to play basketball, water polo, mountain bike, ski, snowboard, and I am big into powerlifting. Goal for the year is to bench 405. This is my third year with chESS where i was previously an AVP Externals and Co-VP Internals. As of now I'm interested in working in the energy industry or pharmaceuticals. In my spare time I love to read, watch F1, and spend time with friends and family!

Hii! I'm Kripa and I'm currently in my 3rd year of Chemical engineering co-op. Currently, I'm completing an 8-month work term at ATCO as part of the distribution technical standards team. I'm an international student from Kerela, but lived in Dubai my whole life. In my free time, I love going on walks or the gym, rewatching the office, reading and baking:). I also love a good cup of masala chai, especially when it's raining. I’m in chemical engineering because I loved biology, chemistry, and math in school, and ChemE felt like the perfect mix of all of them. I’m still exploring, but I’d love to end up working in biotech or sustainable energy in the future. Hi everyone! I am thrilled to be joining on as the ChESS grad coordinator! I chose the ChemE CPC program because I love the unique blend of traditional chemical engineering with the added focus on computer modeling and programming, which I believe will be incredibly useful down the line. On the off chance I'm not studying, I'm a dedicated homebody who enjoys reading, painting, and photography. And for a fun fact: this is actually my second university degree! I want to make the most out of this final year, and I am excited to create a memorable experience for anyone graduating this spring!
