Why choose SVCC?

SVCC offers language learning sessions in various languages. Here are the perks of signing up for sessions:

1. They are great opportunity to practice regularly, allowing you to retain or develop new language skills.

2. Sessions are FREE! There are absolutely no charges to participate in SVCC sessions.

3. Native speakers host the sessions. You can learn the grammar and culture of the language directly from them!

4. SVCC sessions are casual, fun and efficient at the same time! Our facilitators have a wide range of activities planned to learn and practice while having fun.

5. They are open to all University of Alberta students OR anyone 18 years or older. You don't need to be a student at the UofA to participate.

6. Sessions are conveniently offered on Saturday mornings to avoid schedule conflicts.

7. SVCC is entirely volunteer-run, which means that our facilitators are really passionate about sharing their language and culture!

8. Sessions are online! People from across the city, province, country, and world can join in to learn with us from the comfort of their homes!
