January 12th, 2026: It has been six months since P.O.IN.T opened, and we are making progress, one step at a time. The lab is taking shape, our level 2 space is up and running, and we are conducting pilot experiments, focused on antifungal resistance to fluconazole in Candida spp.

January was also our first full team meeting, which is now composed of Zahra Rezaei, Susan Roth, and Emmanuel Kayode, and (lab side), and Jack Burke Gaffney, Simran Dhami, Marie Malloux, Marissa Mikhail (clinical data side), and Hala El-Assadi (pilot MYCAN project). 

July 1st, 2025: P.O.IN.T is starting ! so far the lab is empty, and the next month will be focused on setting up equipment and getting the reagents necessary to get the research work started. The sticky notes serve as place holder until the material comes in.
