The complex design and support requirements for a university-wide transition to a new learning management system of the future are built on the power of partnership, including contributions from the working teams listed below.
Flight Engineers
Team members from Information Services Technology (IST/eClass), Online & Continuing Education (OCE), and the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) are working together to bridge technical and pedagogical domains of expertise as part of Canvas system configuration and testing, to provide a smooth test flight in May 2024 and a safe launch and landing for all three waves by Fall 2025.

Migration Testing Team
This team works with IST and K16 to provide testing and feedback as part of a higher-fidelity approach for transferring courses from Moodle to Canvas. They focus on preserving course content and functionality, so instructors have less to do if they choose to activate a migrated course in Canvas for Wave 2 or 3 (Winter 2025 or Fall 2025 terms).
