Our research group focuses on emerging wastewater treatment and resource recovery technologies with the goal of addressing growing challenges in expanding water systems. We aim to evaluate and optimize engineered technologies that can carry out energy conservation and energy-efficient nutrient reduction, leading to resource-recovery-based wastewater treatment in urban water service systems.Â
