We are proud to celebrate two of our trainees, Eamon Fitzpatrick and Jenn Van Petten, who were each awarded an ADI Graduate Studentship 2026.
Jenn received support for the project “Investigating the role of Clec14a in islet vascular destabilization in type 2 diabetes.”
Eamon received support for the project “Identifying Markers of Non-Productive Angiogenesis Within the Type 2 Diabetes Islet Vasculature.”
The studentship provides a $12,000 stipend distributed over 12 months in support of graduate research and training.
Congratulations to Victoria Johnston on receiving a 2026 Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Master’s (CGRS M) award!
Victoria's research focuses on the comprehensive analysis of gene expression and regulation within the human cystic fibrosis (CF) pancreas.
The award provides $27,000 in funding over 12 months to support her graduate research and training.
Congratulations to Camryn Moline on receiving a 2026 Mitacs Accelerate Award!
Camryn received support for the project “Development and Optimization of Protocols for Isolation and Culture of Pancreatic Ductal and Stellate Cells.”
The award provides $15,000 to support graduate research and training expenses.
