HEAR MUSIC Alberta (Health Education, Advocacy and Research for Music) is a diverse multidisciplinary network of healthcare, and music professionals as well as students and researchers who share a passion for the use of music as medicine.
We are open to new membership, and regularly circulate a newsletter via email. There are no fees involved, just your interest and openness to collaboration for the advancement of music in healthcare. Members can be as active as they wish to be, or simply receive email or social media updates. To educate patients, families, healthcare providers, students, the public, and policy-makers on the power and application of music and music therapy for healing
To advance the field of music therapy through innovative research and knowledge translation efforts.
