Equity in Emergency Care Research Program

The Equity in Emergency Care (EEC) is a research program led by Dr. Patrick McLane based in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Alberta. Our team works closely with First Nations and Métis organizations, academic researchers, and health authority staff to address racism and health inequities in hospital emergency departments (ED) and urgent care sites.
