Yasmine Rais

Master's Student

Education: B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry, University of Alberta (2019).

Lab Interests: After earning my bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta, I entered the graduate school to explore my passion for scientific research. My current research project is focused on biomarker discovery for prostate cancer and immunoassay development.

Delaram Dara

Master's Student

Education: B.Sc. (Hons) in Human Biology and Physiology, University of Toronto (2019).

Lab Interests: I am interested in exploring the various uses of mass spectrometry to study the dynamics of cancer development and biomarker discovery. With this tool, we can assess the functionalities of various proteins which enable us to better understand the molecular pathways and to exploit these findings for enhancing cancer diagnosis and prognosis.
