Climate change is one of the biggest problems we face today. Young people are feeling its effects the most. How can we create a future that is fair, hopeful, and better for the planet?Our goal is to help young people explore career options that make a positive difference in the world. We support youth in exploring meaningful work in our communities that helps both people and the environment.Join us as we rethink how to build careers for a greener, fairer future.
Traditional career education often uses outdated ideas about work that don’t fit today’s world. These ideas focus too much on specific jobs or occupations, rather than how people build a good life. They also expect people to deal with unfair systems on their own, instead of looking at how things like racism, inequality, and lack of good jobs affect everyone.
The way we teach career planning today misses a chance to talk about big issues like climate change, protecting nature, and how these things affect our mental health.Young people are facing new and tough challenges. They need career support that gives them hope, and shows them how they can make a real difference.

We acknowledge that this project is based in Edmonton, Alberta, on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting ground and home for many Indigenous Peoples, including the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, and Nakota Sioux.
