Through participatory action research, we investigate how young people experience and sustain hope while navigating the climate crisis. Our work examines the links between hope, mental health, and future planning, highlighting how youth can mobilize their work—individually and collectively—to drive social and ecological transformation.
Our research will lead to the creation of practical resources for educators and youth. These tools will address barriers to decent work, promote climate justice, and explore pathways for meaningful careers that contribute to equity and sustainability.
We are a research-driven initiative dedicated to helping young people navigate the complexities of career development in the face of climate change. Our work is grounded in participatory action research methods that center youth voices, exploring how they sustain hope and envision meaningful futures amidst unprecedented ecological and economic uncertainty.
We collaborate with educators, youth, and community organizations to create resources that address the intersections of climate justice, mental health, and career development. By challenging traditional models and fostering a transformative approach, we aim to support young people in aligning their work with social justice, equity, and sustainability.
