I have supervised MA theses and PhD dissertations on xenophobia in South Africa, land reform in Zimbabwe, the regulation of pharmaceutical advertising in Canada, the social impacts of internal displacement in northeastern Kenya, discourses of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder in Canada, obstetric violence, work/life balance and telecommuting, gendered mobility and food security in Tanzania, and art therapy for trauma and resilience, among other topics. In addition to my supervisions in the department of sociology, I have also been a member of supervisory committees in nursing, public health, agriculture, political science, geography and English.
